Here is my opinion.
Thousands of relationships break up every day. Some are for very legitimate reasons. Some breakups, however, are for the silliest reasons imaginable. Quite often, the couple doesn’t even know the reason.
When I started reading The Magic of Making Up, I found myself saying a lot of ‘oh’s’ and ‘aha’s’. Never in my wildest imagination would I have thought of some of the strategies laid out.
Which probably explains why I have so many ex girlfriends. I will never know if one of them was Miss Right. Fortunately, my current relationship is still strong thanks to the advice I got from T.W. Jackson, or T Dub as his friends call him.
I especially like his “Clean Slate Method”. That technique has gotten me through more rifts than I can count. I also like his “Fast Forward Technique”, which helps you get past the pain of a breakup whether it is temporary or not. Fortunately, I haven’t had to use it myself because the Clean Slate Method has worked so well.
I discovered that MOST relationships can be salvaged, but if you go in without a plan, you are setting yourself up for failure.
Yes I have read other books and programs for restoring a relationship, but they were all seriously lacking. They tell you to step away for a month to gather yourself, but most of them stop there. What do you do now?
