My Ex Wants To Get Back Together, But I Don’t
Your ex wants to get back together? Why? Is it going to get you where you want to go? Is it going to make you a better and more secure person if you do get back together? Is your heart in it? If not then you probably don’t need to be getting back together.
If the result of the two of you getting together is like a volcano exploding, then you don’t need to get back together. All of this may be totally clear in your head, but in theirs it may seem like the world is crashing down. Do you get back together for them? That is going to have to be something that you decide when ex want to get back together.
When you are a couple everything is supposed to be to the mutual benefit of the two of you together. What happens, though, if the relationship ends and your ex wants to get back together? There is no more ‘you’ as in the collective you and them. It is only the solitary ‘you’ that matters. Don’t cave in to their desire when your ex wants back together just because you are made to feel guilty. You should only do it if the two of you are benefited by being together.
There are some relationships that are explosive in a good way but they can also seem like a mountain is exploding every time the two of you get together. Worlds collide and destruction comes. The best thing to do, even if your ex wants to get back together really bad, is to not let it happen. It causes too much stress on you and them. If you don’t let it happen you are doing the right thing for both of you.
The worst thing that you can do is pretend that everything is okay. They may be totally devastated by it all and your heart breaks a bit for the pain that they are going through. You may feel a little guilty for things happening the way that they did and for your lack of desire to get back together, but don’t let that make you do something that traps you both. Going into a relationship out of obligation isn’t really a good thing for either one of you. Don’t bother trying to explain this to your ex. They may try to use it to their advantage. Stick to your guns.
If the two of you are supposed to get back together, you’ll know. If there is a large amount of doubt that you should be together then let that be the guiding light. Go with your gut and with your head. If the two of you are better off with the other then wonderful! It’s a good thing to get back together. If the feeling isn’t mutual, though, then it might not be a good thing at all, regardless how badly your ex wants to get back together.

I have found the best way to “keep the volcano from exploding” is to take some time apart (for both parties) this allows time for things to cool and and to get your emotions under control.

Point is to decide once and for all if you want your ex back or not. There’s no point beating a dead horse if there’s nothing left to salvage anymore. Good luck.

yeah, yeah i like this article, if you do not want to get back into a relationship that you left in the first place do not go back because you feel sorry for them or they say they need you, cause they were fine before you got there they will be fine after you leave, do not let guilt dominate your life.

Nobody can force a real relationship, that’s certain. Sometime in such a situation, you feel obliged to try again, but you don’t have to. ON the other hand, sometimes you can create a much better relationship the second time around. I think it’s important to look at what it is you might be afraid of: is it really that you don’t want to be with that person, or do you have commitment issues, does that person bring up old wounds you need to heal?

Everything I asked for HAPPENED LAST NIGHT! Drew finally broke down and told me EVERY thing, confessed to being a liar and a cheat, and asked me to please forgive him…………. It must have been eating him up inside for days now, the guilt, I can tell he’s been weird. I thought at first it wasn’t gonna work, and he was gonna leave, but I guess I thought too soon, cause he finally admitted to everything, but said he loved ME and ONLY ME, and it’s killing him to think of losing me! I have been following this thread with some amusement for a while now, but now I think it’s time to give my 2 cents worth.
First of all, I think this this stuff about love spells is a bunch of hooey, but lets assume for a minute that it’s real.
Everything comes with a price. Even when you pray to God, he wants something. He wants you in Heaven with Him. You ask God for what you want and if you have faith and it is His will, it will happen.
But praying to God is simply a matter of asking. No roots or herbs or love spells. Just prayer.
So then, if a love spell works, where is that coming from? It’s not from God, so it must be from something else. And what does this something else want in return? I guess you will find out when it happens.
Perhaps this sounds overly dramatic, but I am not willing to sell my soul to the devil for a brief moment of happiness. And to make matters worse, you can be sure that some of the people promoting this are making a profit from it. They have already sold their souls.
The devil is the king of lies and you can be sure he will not tell you the cost until it is too late.
I would be very, VERY careful if you you are considering this. As I said, everything has a price.
